i'm glad i finally did it, and happy to say it's totally worth it,
i don't know if it's just the change to new tubes, but really i think i can hear the difference
the main difference being the amount of power the amp seems to have, making all frequencies much more full
soo that's my quick take on it,
also got the herbert with all el34's which is for sale, also wanted to make sure the bad boy didn't have crap wrong with it before any possible sale
anyway, i love it, and thanks goes to kit and others who turned me to the 6550's they were sed's which i can't compare to other tubes at the moment but seem to kick ass and of course look sharp
