I knew I liked the 34's when I first heard them at Zack's house, but have been procrastinating to do mine and finally did it today. I wish I had done it sooner, for my tastes I prefer the 34's but if I was playing loud in a band and heavily drop tuned I might have stuck with the 88's.
Either way you can't go wrong just a matter of preference.
