New cab day! After waiting 3 months for a Diezel 4x12 and being told by Nick at the Axe Palace numerous times that it shipped and should arrive soon, I decided to look elsewhere.

I soon hit up Brad and whaddaya know, I got my Diezel!

Also, I've been stalking the forums here for a while now so I figured I should join already lol.

Nice to meet you guys =)

Congrats on the cab dude! And welcome!
Go to Brad if you need anything, I also had bad customer service with the good old palace of axeville

I've been gassing for a Herbie for the longest time, and it will be my next and hopefully last amp for a while :D

I love the Engl! It took me a little while to get the tone that I wanted since I'm not a big fan of scooping mids. But after I finally did that and some other tweaking I couldn't be happier.

I'm still able to cut through the mix well and I get a lot more compliments on my tone after shows.

Not to mention the lead tones and clean channel are awesome as well.

Very cool.

I have never tried Engl and seen others enjoying them.

I just saw a local guy that had one and his tone was SH*T, so I kinda got soured because of that.

Maybe something to consider. BTW, Herbert is the be all end all for me, however, I have Hagen as well :D
Enjoy your cab, I have 4 and love them! Stacks of Diezel cabs is simply wonderful.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. So, be careful out there

Not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous over all your guys' Diezel gear lol.

Just one question though. I tried putting on the coasters that came with the cab, but I couldn't since the holes were spaced too far apart from the holes in the cab.

Do I have to drill more holes to get the coasters to fit?

Huh??

My Diezel cabs have casters that slide into place. Makes it really easy for on/off.
No screwing or drilling should be necessary.

Upload a pic of what you have, because all the new Diezels have these type of casters, at least I thought they did.

Wow. Totally had a dumbass moment

The other day I couldn't get the first coaster to slide on so I assumed there was another way to put 'em on.

Thanks GtarLover

No problem...glad you got it figured. Awesome cabs, right?

Congrats on your new cab! Looks great and welcome to the forum.

So, did you get your money back from Nick?

Nope. It's been over a week now since I told him I want my deposit back. Just hit him up yesterday again and he told me there was some sort of delay. That dude is something else.

any clips of your engl

Sorry, not yet. We did play out this past weekend and had a couple people recording us. The sound was awesome. Hopefully the clips sound good so I can post something =)

Awesome cabs, right?

Dude this thing is sooooooooo much better than my Mesa Rec cab.

Congrats on your new cab! Looks great and welcome to the forum.

Thanks bro! Love that avatar btw lol.

Thanks Peter! You are THE man!
