First Diezel amp on the WAY!! VH4 suggestions needed.

First let me say that I have been wanting a Diezel amp for many years and now my very first one is on the way!!! It is a VH4. Was hoping to find a Hagen on eBay in the last couple of weeks but think the VH4 will shine just fine.

I was waiting on the 19" rack stuff, as Peter would call it, but just could not wait any longer

I have been a rack man for over 20 years and currently using the ENGL 570 preamp with the VHT 2/90/2 with the usual suspects of the ISP Decimator ProRack, GMajor, BBE and VHT cabs.

My plan is to just plug my Gibson Les Paul Billy Morrison with EMG 81\85 straight into the VH4 and then into 2 VHT 4X12 Fat Bottom cabs, crack open an IPA and let 'er rip!

Since my rack system was running in stereo I was thinking of using the series loop of the VH4 out into the Decimator ISP, which is where the ENGL 570 is running then take the out of the GMajor back into the VH4 Return, where the VHT 2/90/2 input would be.

Does this sould like a solid plan to you?!?!

VH4 should arrive be early next week so looking for some ideas!!!

Best advice:

Have FUN jamming!

You will be so very happy it will be difficult to contain...for at least a month, probably longer.

Let us know how you decide to run things. This is a continuous question from the forum. It is so amazing to have a Diezel running midi and holding down the tone, then mixing with other amps, effects, etc.

Personally, I have Herbert and Hagen, Axe FX Ultra for effects. Haven't gone to w/d/w yet, but have the power amps, effects, and cabs to do so. That will be my next great endeavor.
