Ok, Ive had this amp for about a month but this was the first time I actually brought it out with the band.
I was blown the F away! As soon as I made some quick adjustments to the excursion settings, I didnt need to tweak a damn thing.
When you first get an XTC you spend lots of time flipping toggle switches haha. B1, N, B2, L...etc etc. So I was a little concerned that I would be reaching for controls all night. Not the case. This amp crushed.

I ran the green channel in the typical fender settings. Ch vol maxed, gain for level, B1, mids cut to 10-11 oclock. I couldnt believe it. The best damn clean sound Ive ever had. Rivaled my Shiva 20th with ease. I wasnt prepared for that. Crystalline shimmering awesomeness.

Blue is my low-mid gain channel. B1, T excursion, presence at 2 oclock, gain at 2 oclock.
Red I keep the gain a bit lower than most would, about 11 oclock. Thats plenty for me. Excursion on M for extra thump, and presence at 2 oclock. Mids bumped up a bit. Cut thru the mix, and had enough compression to make playing a breeze.

I had my levels up to about 10:30 so I was moving some nice air thru my Bogner 4x12 with V30s.
I use the fx loop for just a solo boost. I dont use any effects in the loop. Worked awesome.

I couldnt be happier with how this amp performed. Truly a sonic masterpiece!

You know its a keeper when you can count on it live and  it inspires you

^^^ Haha! That was a great amp review.

Thanks, it surely is an amazing amp. :rawk:
