killer sound Scott....
When I hear these modified amps I feel envious..
I wonder if it is so difficult to make a Marshall sound like that...
I have a jmp 75 that sounds pretty bad ...loose and very bass bloatted ...and I don't know what to do with it...
I am an electronic engineer, but I don't know where to start...

Check the caps

Sounds good. How do your Japanese neighbors like good ol' Americans rocking out on electric guitar? Or do you have some space between you and your neighbors?

Tone is in the Elmo pajama pants.
My grinch pajamas were in the laundry

i fortunate that I have farm land to my right, a daycare to my front. An American family to my left and no one in back. Plus the outer walls are reinforced concrete. The actually build homes here to withstand typhoons

This was the same way. It’s all about choosing the right bypass caps at each stages, Your basically allowing through more mods and high than you are bass. Then the Jose master adds a bunch of saturation and tames some high end

That sounds sweet. Has that nice harmonic sheen on top when you are chugging. If I was an intelligent man I would've bought one of those or a JTM45 back in the 90's when they were somewhat affordable and been done amp shopping forever. They are 2k or more on Reverb right now..

Eh, if your neighbors ever complain, just play some Marty Friedman licks. They LOVE him over there lol
