Fix for Rebel 30 DI problem

My Rebel 30 combo amp has a problem with the DI output where after running for a while, the output signal starts to weaken and get noisy. The remedy is to turn the amp off and back on.

This is a known issue. I'm going to call Egnater about it tomorrow, but I'm curious if anyone is aware of a kit for fixing this because I'd really rather not send the amp back.
 
Egnater tells me that a 2.7m resistor is the fix. They sent me a schematic. I'm hoping I can get a guitar tech to make the fix for me....
 
I was able to get this fixed by a tech for $20. The local hardware shop gave me the resister for free.
