I found a fja peavey Windsor with metal mods,6550 tubes,choke, upgraded tranny and midsweep for 300$....should I???? It looks in good condition but the tolex was spray painted anda needs to be replaced

Had a similar modded Windsor in the past. Sounded huge but was noisy so I sold it. Let’s see how this one sounds!

Anyone now a simple mod to open up and get rid of some of the fizz in a Windsor. I don't really understand schematics it would nice maybe see the changes on a pcb layout thanks
