So if you recall, a while back, I was having a "problem" with my Mod50 making a crazy vibrating, buzzing noise. It was coming from inside, whenever I had the head on top of the cab, and played a palm muted A chord.
Well, before I went and ripped the head apart, I've always noticed that the feet for the Mod50 are a very dense, very hard rubber. Feels more like a skateboard wheel, rather than a soft cushiony kind of foot.
Anyways, I bought a new set of rubber feet that are "squishier" for lack of a better work. Installed them on the head AND cab. (you'll need a square head bit to do this, BTW...)
And the result? No more vibration/buzz. Problem solved.
I guess the cab was SO resonant, and the hard rubber feet were transferring alot of that particular resonant frequency to the head. Strange... but its all good now.
