Foot controller for Herbert

Will a VL Ground Control Pro work and control everything or is it better to get a Columbus? Besides the amp I'll only be controling a G Major 2. Anyone want to sell a Columbus? Cant buy until after the 1st of the year.

The Columbus plugs in w/a basic mic cable in the Herb footswitch Jack- really slick!

Ground Control is fine. But yes the Columbus is a midi controller too.

I was wondering the same thing. How does Herbert route midi signals via one XLR to external midi devices that don't have a XLR midi interface? Obviously midi-in & midi-thru work fine.

XLR or MIDI to Herbert, MIDI thru to FX unit.

The GCP works fine with the Herbert. It's actually a more advanced MIDI pedal than the Columbus. Get the Columbus if you're a geek who likes everything to match brand-wise. Otherwise, save some $ and get a GCP. I sold my GCP to get a Columbus - back when they were cheaper than they are now.
