Footswitch problems

Had another gig today went pretty well but 3 songs in the "mode " button on my Splawn footswitch stopped responding, so now I have no idae if I'm in gear 1 or 2. any one else ever have footswith issues? I emailed Scott but it may take a while to hear back.
 
There are some schematics floating around. Check the old forum. Shouldn't be too hard to fix. Good luck.
 
Is your footswitch the new style with the multipin connector or hardwired cable?

If its the multipin then spray some contact cleaner into the footswitch jack. You can use a multimeter as well to check between the 2 ends that there's connection happening and its not a connection break somewhere.

You can also open the footswitch to check if there's a loose connection. maybe solder point broke perhaps.

it's the multi pin, just sprayed contac cleaner ....nothing going to open it up and see if there's anything loose.
 
just opened it up one of the wires has detached off of that toggle, waiting to hear back from Scott to see which leg it goes to. hopefully easy enough :)
