offensive and racist speech is a 1A right. of course, the FBI looks the other way if the offensive and racist speech is directed at white people. hate speech is a 1A right for all.


in my Trump wishlist, not far behind 1) securing the border; 2) mass deportation of illegal invaders; is a clean-up of Federal agencies, at the top of the list is FBI, DoJ, IRS, well, all Fed agencies.

Not sure if true, but I read somewhere that Powell said he wouldn't resign if President Trump asked for his resignation. I hope he tries to refuse.


I hope Trump goes scorched earth on some of these Fed agencies, at the top 5-10+ levels.

Make the FBI trustworthy again.
Abolish the IRS.


In the early years of the USA, the Federal government was funded by tariffs and the states IIRC. It was also much smaller so per capita costs for Federal government were significantly lower.

Powell did say he wouldn’t step down if asked, and unfortunately the POTUS doesn’t have the power to force him to. He does have the power to tear his playhouse down though, and being chairman of nothing is a job that holds no sway

In his last term Trump complained about tight monetary policy, the thing that would help inflation. I doubt he will change that general approach. Anything required to fix the currency situation will take down the US economy. Ain't happening under his presidency IMO.
