-In the pictures, the guitar has Aldrich pups in it, now it has a set of BKP's, a Holy Diver in the bridge and a VHii in the neck.
-Let me know if you want me to send you a picture of the guitar with the new pickups, I will text or email them to you.
-sourced woods for a long time before production to make these as great as possible
-I have had a handful of Moderns and this is by far the best I have played, hands down.
-this is what Ed Yoon said about these:
It is a Limited Edition and only one hundred will be made, so part of it is the desirability and that these are the very first Custom Moderns made with the highest quality woods that we can find. We sourced a little over 100 spreads of the special grade Angel Quilted Maple tops over a year ago for the Limited. We are also taking extra care to pick out the lightest and most resonant of the highest grade Honduras Mahogany for the body and neck. It's not that we don't always do that, but we've been sorting the woods for the Limited for a while now. Yes, there's a premium because this is the 10th Anniversary Limited, but extra care did go into procuring the special woods as well as the countless hours that John put into the R&D and that Steve put into the CNC programming and testing
It's not just a shred machine; it really has tone - inside and out. It looks sleek and flashy but still exudes class and taste. It plays fast and accurate but still feels organic and warm. I went through all the very best 24-fret shred axes in the 80's and I remember them all leaving me cold for various reasons. A lot of vintage classic kind of guys played this Modern LE at NAMM through the amps and were amazed by how full and resonant the guitar sounded. The guitar simply rings with liveliness and sounds huge across the entire fingerboard range.
-will sell for $2800 these were $6000 new, save big.
-I would also trade for MacBook pro (2016 or newer, i7, at least 16gb and 1 tb) that is the reason I am selling this, need a computer to run my new UA recording gear.
-possible trade for a strat or strat type plus cash. Maybe a Nash plus cash from you, or even a nice partscaster plus cash? Must play well. let me know what you have, you never know, I might like something else and trade.
-this is a very special Modern, it sounds epic and plays effortlessly.
-link to pics of the actual guitar in the Reverb post I got it from:
