Been putting this pedal to good use lately and testing with my amps.
Really digging it for some pissed off, aggressive tones.
I notice since the pedal is capable of so much boost, it really does well with lower gained amps or channels. Talking like 2 gain stages, it really brings the pain........and clarity.
This first channel of the slax is very impressive, it loves all my boosts also. It can get some very sweet cleans, into greasy mild breakup, also does very good classic rock, ala ac/dc.
It's nice when amps your already in love with: keep surprising you.
Here's a little clip. Gets the point across I think

That sounds killer man. Very nice metal tone. That's the low gain channel?

Thanks gents!!!!

@errrrl: glad you tried it huh  it's like a 4th channel

Results very for sure. The butterslax is a big part of this equation.
I've tried it through a number of setups so far

Yeah I heard the Grind is very hit or miss depending on the rig as well...

Exactly. I had a grind as well. I like the 33 better I think. I'll prob get another grind though so I can compare. The Fortin pedals are really cool "spices" to add to the chili, just have to have the right foundation.

Thanks so much !
Hahaha yes. It can get some amazing cleans, but it's meant for some dirt. Just "cleaner" dirt

The 33 is capable of some serious boost. No gain involved though. It's a freq selective boost/cut pedal. Really cool stuff
