Fortin Amps: Coming Soon?

Probably just a redesigned website.... or the release of a few more signature amps that the artists will endorse but probably not play live. Not sure why because Fortin knows tone, but hey, I guess it is what it is.

Hopefully he's leaving Randall. "Hey Mike, we want to hire you too design our amps...but we don't want to spend any money.. Oh and we're going to be using cheap Asian parts and labor!".... Bugeras sound better than the current Randall lineup.

Interesting. That would explain why is website was done a couple of days ago. Hopefully it's a new Fortin Original or something

i guess it maybe the launching of Fredrik thordendal sig amp ?

Umm, no. Can't agree with that.

I've owned a Diavlo and a Thrasher and they crush. I profiled them for my Kemper and they are some amazing go-to high gain tones.

I'll have to agree with this. I think Mike Fortin & Randall did a pretty awesome job with the platform. I'm not a huge fan of the overseas boom in amplifier production, but these amps sound pretty good.

Did you ever share those profiles out?

I shared one I did from the XLR out. I don't know if anyone liked it but it sounds decent to me

Now I have people supporting my fact!

I actually was skeptical and my first impression wasn't great....I was boosting with an OD pedal. But in time after learning how the hell to use the amp I got better at just using the boost and gain built in. I do use my HD 500 in the loop for EQ and reverb but other than that it's tits to play it now. I used it live with an AxeFX2 in the loop and it sounded great....right now at home my 5153 mini sounds fuzzy in comparison.....maybe the Thrasher thrashed my ears...but it's grown on me...I dig the punch and clarity alot. I think kind of like the people on here who say that those who don't know how to dial in a particular amp give it a bad review....kind of what happened to me initially but I didn't publicly slam it....I learned how to use it as the gain, high gain, and low gain parameters are the tweakable sauce to the thing...

I also think my Thrasher sounds amazing. The Satan and 667 also sounded great when I got to try them.

What tubes are you guys using in your Thrashers? I'm using the E-34L's and so far like the tones. Curious about KT-88's though...maybe mix a pair in the middle?
