Yeah, I get that. The amp is already tight as fuck and sounds killer on it's own. Was wondering if the pedal over tightens the amp, or thins out the tone.

The pedal just gives the amp a different flavor really. Pushes it over the edge the way Meshuggah likes it. Definitely doesn't thin anything out.

That's a beautiful metal rig man! How are ya digging th 33? It has me curious, but I didn't get along with the grind pedal unless I set the amp real dark and it made it a dedicated one trick pony. My 10 yr old maxon still works for a rock or death metal setup.
