Found my "lost" TriAxis

Found some of my "missing" gear, including my Mesa TriAxis (with phat mod); need to see how it works, and pair it with my E850/100. Sold my E530 preamp, and the E850 sounds great with my ISP Theta Pro Michael Sweet.

It's been so long since I played the TriAxis, not sure if I'll keep or sell it.

Also found my Trace Elliot MP-11.

Still missing is my #1 ADA MP-2 from back in the day.


edit: also found my TC Electronic Nova System, has the latest/last input buffer; and a few Nova Pedals: Delay, Mod, Reverb, Dynamics. Still missing my Nova Drive; also found my original US made JangleBox compressor designed for Rickenbacker guitars; and my Hotone XStomp and XStomp Mini...

It has to be since it’s called a mod. I don’t know if you have to change out the circuit board or not.

get divorced; you lose lots of things, most you never get back


somehow, after the divorce my ex-wife had a few boxes of things that turned out to be mine, so I went to get them yesterday. I'm happy she didn't just throw them away after all these years.

No changing the board. I had a Phat mod and couldnt reverse it fast enough!

Yeah, it’s phenomenally bad. Weird.

Remove the phat mod and use an external EQ. Leave the dynamic voice alone. Set it to 0, or 1 if you want some post-distortion bass boost, but any more and it sounds real bad.

I never cared for the red mode with the phat mod in my Triaxis. Also the Dynamic voice was not very good. Otherwise it is a killer preamp!
