Sound impressive, and a usable wah as well, shit! Expensive though..

I can't believe I am going to say this BUT …

I think I am going to get on the list. I figured I can get 1/3 of the way there selling off my current pedal board and rack stuff. It has relay switching and midi so I can use it a few different ways to switch my Quick Rod. Everyone is so darn gaga over the Fractal effects, it still comes in at a better price point than 3 Strymons and a controller.

Would be so perfect for cover band gigs...or recording...or anything really. If only I had the brains to figure that dang thing out  :aww:

I had an early demo unit and the wah was killer.

I beta tested one of these, it was super easy to use and program BTW. You can do presets or just have it like a pedal board with on/off like a stomp box. Will switch your amps (2 1/4 jacks) and will also send midi commands so something like a VH4 is super easy to switch.

It's a shame they skimped on the real estate though. Look how close the switches are together. Will be a mess for live use.

Agreed... Side-to-side spacing isn't so bad, but trying to hit the top row without accidentally hitting the bottom row (after a few beers on a dark stage) might be a challenge.

It sounds good and I like it. The price point seems a little high and it looks like a POD HD500, though...

Steve K the footswitch spacing is like the MFC controller, so if that works for you it will work, if it doesnt it wont.

On the wah (I use two rigs, one axe2/mfc) one where I have a small pedalboard and a bunch of amps (Carol Ann, ENGL, Friedman, VHT).

For Wah I use the Cantrell, but have also liked the budda and 535Q and lately for space have been using the Japanese girl wah, its decent but not as good as the dunlop stuff.

When I demo'd the fx8 I just felt the wah was killer sounding, I liked it easily as much as my cantrell and did not feel there was any compromise. It had a great tone and interacted with my amp the way I would want (had a little push to it and just sang). Hope this helps !

Thanks, and also, the "auto engage" wah, it works as advertised?
