Fractal Fx8 - pitch shift not accurate

So I am using my FX8 as a whammy to pitch 2 octaves up. I've got everything setup correctly in the scene settings and the expression pedal is calibrated to go from 0 to 100 from toe up to toe down. However, I noticed that my 2-octaves up does not go that high.

So for example, if I play a part where the riff starts on the 15th fret of the low e, I'd have to start on the 16th fret of the low e for it to "pitch" accurately.

Any suggestions as to what I can check to correct that?

Thanks

Like any of the other fractal units, it has to be some type of pedal calibration thing. Are you sure your expression pedal is functioning correctly? Man...I haven't seen an FX8 for like 5 years.

Thanks PB. Last I checked, the pedal calibration shows 0 to 100 when rocking toe up to toe down.

Not familiar with the FX8, but is it possible that it's an intonation issue with the guitar you're using?

and just to make sure i wasn't "hearing things".. LOL.. i used the boss tuner app on my phone to check the note.. and without pitch its a G, with a pitch at 2 octaves up, its only F#.

The hunt continues

Is one octave up still flat?
