Sounds great as pretty much anything Pete Thorn demos. Not sure the worth is in the pedal unless you need two channels and a mid control. Other than that to me the original is just as good. Maybe Dave tweaked the pedal since the original? I would just stick to the original if I had one again..........which I'm considering repurchasing I love that pedal.

I thin it does low gain better than the original from what I saw/heard at NAMM and based of this vid from Pete.

I'm grabbing one for sure. Love the original, and actually really dig the lower gain/Plexi-ish tones in it. Being able to switch between that style tone and a full blown BE high gain tone in one pedal is killer.

Ordered mine already! This is exactly what I was looking for in one pedal and have been waiting for it since the Namm announcement. The mid control is great to have on there. Fantastic! Basically using this for my rehearsals so I just bring my board with Fx with me and run into a tube head that they have at the space. Will also use it live as well as needed.

Should be here next week. Can't wait!

I still have mine and love it but would be great to have some mid action.

Dave for the love of god please do this with the DS pedal and please make one that has a DS/BE as well.

that is all

I got the BE-OD the first day it came out. But I like the DS pedal better. If he makes a DS version of this, even with just a boost option, I'm in.

The lower gain side is very much a DS sound or it can mimic that.

That's good to know. On my DS pedal I have both the internal and external gain knobs all the way down to zero and it's just right when playing through my Marshall 1987xl.

Sounds good but to be honest, everything Pete demos does. With that in mind, I still found it to be a bit compressed and squeezed at the top vs a real tube amp which stays more even. I don't know, nowadays, I would almost just buy an affordable tube amp.

Sounds ok. Not bad.
If you really are human, then it's really simply a glorified 951 on steroids.

Just have a good guitar amp tech install a 2nd master volume (if your amp already has a master volume).

EOS.
