Friedman JEL100 on the 800 Side boosted with a Fortin Blade

Been needing to get this amp setup for a while now.

Had it sitting on the end (yeah, vertical) and some how it was knocked over...why would I store them vertical??? Too F'n many amps and it just works in some spaces.

Good news is the only damage is cosmetic that I have noticed so far.

I honestly was putting off the pain of checking the damage. Anyway.

I hear some don't like the 800 channel on the amp. The gain switch isn't exactly my thing but the channel itself is.

 
That sounds great!

Ive only played the JEL20 and was pretty impressed. Could see picking up a JEL50 one day

I was close to getting a 20 but I am leary of el84s.

The 50 should be amazing. The 100 has to be too loud to really bring the goods.

A note for the 800 boost switch, the tube you have in this secret really effects its usability. It needs a low noise tube for sure.
