Since I am considering buying a 4th Friedman amp, a JEL-20, I figured I would play my 3 amps and see how they sound.
I just did the same riffs on all 3 of them to see how they sounded and all impressed me.
I set the tone knobs at noon on all of them, but on the JJ Jr. I had to lower the Treble down to 3 out of 11, it is my brightest amp.
All amp gains were at noon, except the Little Sister needs to be at 7 out of 10 to compare as it has less gain on tap.
I did use a boost at some points using my Ibanez TS808 mini, but I backed the level on that down to noon, at 10 out of 10 it was a bit much.
I still think the Pink Taco is my favorite, then the Little Sister and the JJ Jr. comes in a close 3rd.
