I finally got some time where I wasn't rushed to demo both of these great amps back to back in the same videos.
If you listen to my YouTube demos you can tell when I am rushed and tight, my playing suffers.
Especially when I try to play rhythm and lead at the same time, I suck at rhythm.
Today I was much more relaxed and had time to properly demo both amps.
Plus I used my Les Paul R9 which I am much more comfortable with than my Les Paul R8.
The R8 is a much brighter guitar.
My review...
Both amps are amazing and I would be proud to call either one my #1 amp.
Both clean up well from a high gain setting, very important in a single channel amp.
I can't say that either one is more versatile than the other.
The Little Sister has the edge on cleans, but the Pink Taco has the edge on gain, but both do each well.
If I had to pick one, it would be the Pink Taco for the higher gain available, but it is a very close call.
If you check my YouTube channel I have two demos of each amp individually, the Pink Taco is a 16 minute video and the Little Sister is 11 minutes, no backing tracks, just full demos rolling off the gain to clean them up.
Here are 3 videos I made today...
The first one is a 15 minute back to back comparison.
The 2nd is a one minute high gain comparison.
The 3rd is the Pink taco V2 to a rock backing track.
Hope this helps any of you out there considering one of these amps.
My Friedman JJ Jr. arrives tomorrow, this should get interesting.
