Friedman Small Box channel comparison

Just woke up and haven't played the amp in a few days due to work. Here is a quick comparison of the two channels. The SAT switch was on the whole time but i believe only effects ch 2


And some ch 2 noodeling with my alder Suhr and Hardwire delay


 
Some of the best Smallbox videos on the internet! Love them all! Thank god I ordered mine with Sat Switch! Great, great tone!
 
This orange Suhr of the third video is just insane! Very aggresive sounding guitar! Great playing and tone.
 
Yes that guitar is great sounding with serious sustain. Love them both
 
Sounds great again!! You're clips are making me REALLY want to try mine through some V30's instead of blackbacks! Think that would sound pretty awesome in a mix too.
 
I need to plug it into thr Marshall cab which has greenbacks
 
Where were you at with Gain , was there more to be had . Oh BTW that sounded great and your chops are fine , much better than mine .
 
Totally forgot to mention that ^^ as well, got caught up in tone talk, but yeah, excellent playing too. :thumbsup:
 
Well the gain was maxed but if i get the volume up i get an even gainier and thicker tone
 
Dude, your clips have ruined me. That IS the sound I hear in my head. I think I'm gonna return my Pink Taco and save until I can get a Smallbox with the mods you have. Awesome playing!

Been watching your Small Box clips over the last couple weeks and totally digging your playing and tones.

Ha! I truly appreciate that! But man does that take soooo much work (this would be my second), I'm at a good place right now, happy with the home studio hack thing and just occasionally dropping out a new original tune in my free time! Maybe once winter settles in and my other hobby takes a back seat (long distance running) and I have more spare time to indulge. But thanks for the encouragement - it goes a long way, believe me. :)

Were the settings the same on the two "noodling" videos?
It's sounds thicker and more aggressive on the last one with the Orange guitar to me.

Yes. The orange is very unique in terms of tone and sustain. That said the blue one is awesome. The orange one is just amazing.
 
Great clips and playing! Between your clips and Derek's, I am really gassing for this amp.
 
If you like classic Marshall tone and 80s metal tones you cannot go wrong with this amp
