FRYETTE GPDI/IR

Wonder if there is a Virtual Amp (for silent recording) built in ...? As ir-X/D/J

So you can track hearing the 1 watt amp but have a DI you can use later to reamp or you tap the signal and record into an IR into your daw or FOTH. No reamp box needed, has an fx loop Is that the jist of it? ..1400 cad$. Probably a pass for me.

That's what I got out of it as well, if i'm understanding correctly

The original GPDI sounded and felt amazing. Totally had the fryette amp sounds in a tiny box. Sent through a power amp for live playing was VERY satisfying. They make awesome shit and do it their own way, as always.

I’ve been really curious about their IR loader that came out a couple years ago. That said my ox does a great job for my needs so I haven’t bought it.

Other than the DI out, the IR series from Friedman, is tough competition, especially since there’s so many of them used already

It’s still really cool though. I think Guitar Center has it for $800. I’m probably not buying at 800

Ive been waiting on the new UL and really liked the GP3. I could find a use for this.
