Up for sale is a RARE 2010 Gibson Historic Les Paul 1960 Standard Reissue VOS '60 R0 Ebony / Black - UPGRADES & OHSC!
$3500 fully insured and shipped via FedEx.
This one is a case queen. This beauty has upgrades to the pots, caps and wiring harness. I'm selling one of my most prized possessions because I just have too many guitars. These R0's are extremely RARE in Ebony / Black. They don't make them anymore and these guitars are widely viewed as some of the best Gibson has ever produced. I believe this is a Sam Ash limited edition run.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition with light surface marks throughout and one or two very small dings that I attempted to show in the pictures. It truly has one of the best feeling necks I've ever played on a Les Paul (and I've played a lot of them) that measures: 1st fret - .835", 12th fret - .957". The action is low and is the smoothest/fastest playing guitar I've ever owned and that's not an exaggeration. The guitar weighs approximately 8.6lbs ounces (give or take a few ounces for scale accuracy) and is extremely well balanced. It also has a very rich dark brown 1-piece Indian rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard is also one piece, not two pieces glued together like many of the newer models. Being a Historic Reissue, this is a non-weight relieved body with a long neck tenon. The wiring harness has also been switched out for a vintage Cream Tone 50's style wiring harness with vintage Bees that cost $300 to install.
It also includes the Original Black Gibson Hardshell Case with Red Velvet Crush Interior, Original Certificate Of Authenticity, Paperwork and Hangtags. This guitar sounds, feels, and plays like a $50,000 1959 Les Paul. It's seriously amazing.
I live in CO and did my best to dust off the Les Paul for the pictures. Tiny little white flecks show up painfully well on a black guitar. It's all pretty much dust if you see that in the pictures.
Make me a reasonable offer and it's yours.
No trades, thanks. (Would possibly consider a newer Wizard MTL amp & Wizard 4x12)
Comes from a smoke-free home.
