Thanks. Yeah, pink may not be for everyone but the older I get the more I like pink guitars. Not sure 20yr old me would have played a pink guitar but now, I love this color. Next guitar I build myself, whenever I get a chance, will be pink too as I have a cool idea I've wanted to do and a visually loud color will make it even better.

This one is certainly more in the vibrant 80s neon pink or magenta family for sure. I wanted it to be bold and visually loud.

I haven't done a pickguard on my 1981 model but it's something that's been on my mind for a while. I wouldn't change this particular guitar to add it being that it's rear routed, but in the future I may make it an option on a top route version of the 1981.
