I had Dan do caps and tubes while there also. The headshell is in good condition (minus the tolex rip on front). Dan has a 2 year wait (I believe) and the price is a bit higher than others due to the options. I paid, 4350 for this from Dan. Posting for 3,900 shipped. Thanks for looking.
That’s a tough question. Probably the regular Cali for my style. It is more of a modern Jose type thing and has a great feel that is very addicting to play. It sounds good in the video but frankly I think it sounds better in person. The gower has significantly more tone shaping options and sounds overall more modern. Particularly because I ordered all the bells and whistles. Dan claims you can cop the cali tones out of the kk++ and I think it gets close but also not exact. So that’s really the biggest differences.
