It is with great regret that I must list this guitar. It's a special one. This is my PRS Standard 22 in the transparent dark red finish. This guitar pre-dates the SE and S2 lines and is a full Core model made on the same production line as all other Core models. This guitar is 100% mahogany with a super-dark rosewood fretboard. The neck is the famous PRS "Wide Fat." This guitar weighs in at 8.0 lbs even on my kitchen scale. Comes with original hardshell case and paperwork (not pictured).
I updated the stock stoptail to a PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge with the brass saddles. This makes spot-on intonation a breeze and the guitar sounds better and stays in tune like a rock. The pickups have been replaced with a set of Seymour Duncan '78 humbuckers, which sound phenomenal in this guitar. The originals are included. There is also an Emerson treble bleed capcaitor set on the volume pot to keep the bass and treble even down the taper of the pot. Works great with single channel amps; clean to mean with a twist of the volume knob.
Condition-wise, this guitar has some light pick scratches and small signs of playwear, with one small ding on the top of the headstock (pretty standard for used PRS guitars) but otherwise nothing significant. The back of the neck is flawless and the frets have plenty of life left. It's in wonderful condition for being almost 20 years old (that's why I bought it!)
