Up for grabs is my Wizard MCII. This is a 2022 MK2 version. This amp has the KT150 power section/transformers (150 watt 4xKT88 power tubes). Along with that this amp has a factory installed depth control.

The mk2 version now has a push pull on the treble which has two different types of eq curves. Pushed in is the normal upper mid voicing and pulled is a more modern low mid type of voicing. The depth control as added at an extra cost. Total cost of this amp new with all the options mentioned and his flat rate shipping is : $5940

I am the original owner. It arrived three weeks ago and is in new condition.

- $5400 Shipped PP gift, Venmo, Zelle

Just didn’t bond with it?
Well my Wizard obsession started a few months back with a 2021 50w MCII. I feel in love with the tone but wanted the depth control and the added headroom of a big power section. So I sold it and ordered this amp. While I was waiting for it to show up I bought a used MTL. I just prefer the more pissed off low mid voicing of the MTL. I cant afford to keep both so I offer her up. This amp is everything the 50w was x10 , it sounds incredibly HUGE. Actually bigger sounding then my EL34 MTL because of the KT88s 150w and depth. Again its just preference, the MCII is more versatile, has a more present midrange and a bit smother compared to the MTL which sounds scooped in comparison.

The only thing that i don't like about my 100 watt wizard is that it is really best for metal at no more than 107 to 110 dbs, because everything over that is too much power saturation. I know that is plenty loud, but 115 dbs feels nice every once in awhile when you want to try to rip your ears off your head. I have kind of flirted with the idea of a 150 watt for this reason. But it is a pretty small complaint, so I don't make the move.

Surprisingly all the Wizards I’ve tried have a good master volume sweep for low to ear bleeding volumes.

I must be getting old… I mean, don’t get me wrong, 110 DB sounds amazing and absolutely crushes, for about 45 seconds, then this old guy’s gotta turn it down a little bit, I find for me, comfortably I usually end up, (this is measuring from where I am standing), somewhere around 100 - 102dB
Now, a foot from the cab it’s probably 110 or so…Gotta measure that next time🤔

I measure the dbs about where i stand/sit. Sometimes i will play in front of the cab, but mostly i just stand a bit to the side.

the 50.8 in the corner of the desk is the db meter

Ahhh ok, so you’re a maniac😂👍
Gotta admit, Louder is ALWAYS better!
I’m always slightly off to one side also, not often directly in front of the cab.
