This is the rare 25th Anniversary edition of the Poundcake amp line (Essentially mk4). This was as hard for me to find as the rarest amps I’ve owned, and I suspect this will be the only time you see this for sale.
There is a clean channel, and 3 gain channels (crunch,meat, and heat). Each gain channel has three gain levels (green,yellow,orange), a bright switch, and the raw switch, which really leads into the unique sound of the amp. There is also a brown switch on the back. This amp has a really unique sound and feel- as all Steavens amps have- somewhere between the German sound, and the British sound, and is extremely responsive to pick attack- at times a drier brighter version of the Bogner XTC sound. Footswitch is included, and I believe the Tolex is an updated option (see in pictures,) but I can’t confirm, as Steavens doesn’t make amps any more. Not interested in trades, as I have essentially everything I’ve wanted to try at this point.
