Hi there,
I’m looking to maybe trade my ‘64 Bandmaster. Just received a full servicing (new caps throughout, three-prong power cable, tubes are strong). All original (minus the new caps).
Physically, the amp itself is in great condition, considering it's nearly 60 years old. The only "issues" (if you can even say that) are that a previous owner had drilled a hole in the back of the chassis next to the Tremolo footswitch jack (he had installed a toggle switch to turn the effect on and off from that), and this previous owner had also replaced the grill cloth with some black material.
I've replaced the grill cloth with the correct stuff (aged blackface fabric), and removed the switch. If desired, I could install a master volume where that hole currently is, or else just leave it.
Aside from that, it’s got small bottle Sylvanias that should have a bunch of life left in them. Will also ship with some gently used Mesa 6L6’s.
As far as trades go, I've got a couple things I’d be into: pretty open.
