Sounds like a damn versatile amp. I can't really comment too much on the tones as I'm listening on crap laptop speakers, but the playing is very cool! I won't comment on the echo/delay anymore... ;)

I was not digging the tone on this one, mang. But then I listened to the last two clips and it was like a night and day difference - those two sounded great!

Its a different channel setup to be a bit scooped. I played it for a few 17 year olds and they loved it so I left it just to show that it can do that sound!!

you rock!!

Thanks brother Steve!!

about the verb/delay....................Old habbits die hard lol :D

Nice job slacker!!! ;)

the echo and delay, are they pedals or you adding them with the recording software during the mix? Sounds damn tastey!!

plugins in sonar!!

and slacker i am!!

What speaker and mic Ralph?

The last 2 clips sound best to me but they need more mids/balls (IMO of course).
It sounds like it could be buried a bit by a full band....not because of the effects but the definition/thickness could be more forward if you know what I mean.

Cool playing though of course!

And here lies the problem. Everyone who has heard these clips tells me that there is something pronounced in the mids and maybe I should scoop the mix a bit and now I have you telling me that it needs more mids!! This shit will drive you nuts i tells ya!! lol!! The weird thing is that a few guys I know thought that everyone would like the clean sound clip the best but everyone seems to like the 2 full tunes better

Thanks brother!!

Just boost the mids in the 800hz range with a Furman PQ-3 ;)
And maybe crank the presence up more. I know Ralph likes smooth, but that gets you caught up in dialing in an amp almost too smooth, it needs to have a character that cuts through as well, some bite...I'm just thinking how playing live with a band that voicing would be a little hard to hear the playing.

Maybe I should have said cut instead of more mids...mids can get honky, cut is that just needs more definition/clarity....presence.
A good player should be heard. ;)

Thanks brother but I think the problem cutting is my recording skills and not the amp! I took this sucker down to SteveVHT's studio and played with a drummer and bass player and the Frost cut like glass!!
