My buddy told me today, to check out this youtube link. It was a video he shot of me goofing around with his Marshall and my rig.

Just thought I'd share. This amp sounds great. It was not very loud, but was huge sounding. Guarantee it'd make guys who have issues with high powered amps, rethinking their philosophy of 1 watt amps.

What is this about 1 watt amps ?

Never mind... Too many times I've heard guys ranting about how 100+ watt amps are too much and can't/don't sound good at low volumes, (It's BS). The next phase to that rant was their solution-- low wattage amps. Meh...

I agree 100%. I have about a dozen amps from 5-150 watts. I like them all for what they are. But the low watt amps do not replace the big ones. Besides that the ones that are 30 watts or more are stupid loud anyway. My Egnator Rebel 20 is very loud set at 1 watt. I say go for the sound you want and do not worry about the numbers.

Any time I hear some one say I do not need a amp with more than (put what ever number here).
I wonder how many amps they have tried ?

One thing is for sure watts is not volume. You need the big amps for the big sound.
