I'm looking to put together an ultimate 80's rig (ala Michael Wagener) based around the ADA MP-1. Let me know if you have one of these EQ's lying around that you wouldn't mind letting go cheap. I would prefer a reissue with the input on the front panel but doesn't have to be.

In spite of the recent thread about these I love mine. Super easy to dial in.

Hmmmm. I searched and didn’t find any recent threads except for one that is 10 years old that had a recent necro bump with few new responses.

Why do you need a Furman ? Rane, Loft, and Audio Arts Engineering all make them and they’re all quieter...

I know there are better/more quiet alternatives. I want the Furman more for nostalgic reasons. This rig isn’t going to be used for gigging, if so I’d definitely look into others. Just want it more for the collection and to occasionally screw around and record with it. I’ve been in the mindset recently that I want to start collecting some of the gear that created the tones that inspired me to play in the beginning. These pieces are just going to get more difficult to find with every passing year.
