Yo Cats!!

I'm currently on the road and not in possession of my usual materials to check with... I need some replacement fuses for the tube-fault indicators located on the rear panel of the amp head. I know they're slow blow, but what's the specs?? 500mA 250V...??? 250mA 250V??? This is a brand new head - model year '09, N.American - standard 110V (or 120V) power.

Any info in a timely manner would be ultra ace... As mentioned, on the road, in a city, and can't for the life of me remember the specs!

(Thanks Duolos for the text...I know you're swamped and in the midst, so I thought I'd ask here for some additional info. Peace Good Sir!!)

I'm no help to you, but I'd like to know the answer as well... particularly if they're the same ones used in a Herbert. Did yours blow??

[did it blow]

Kinda... It's slopw blow. So the power is still there, perhaps not firing 100%, but the tube fault indicator is illuminated. Now, to figure it out - I swapped tubes and the light stayed on, so I swapped fuses and the light followed the fuse. Obviously, through logical deduction, it ain't the tube - it's a funky fuse.

I'm almost positive they're either 250mA 250V or 500mA 250V.

I scored some 500mA 250V and they'll just have to do for now. Until I get the 411 from the powers-that-be (Peter? Terry? Peter? Board Members?)

Namaste,
V.

The LED lights when the fuse is broken.

The Fuse is 250 milliamps = 0,25 amps
The Fuse is also slowblow = SB

The German word for slowblow is "traege"
Therefor the German fuses are printed AT
A for amps and T for slowblow.

Any Radio Shack....

And I take it this is of the 250V varietal?? As that's what's written on the fuses themselves... Even though I'm a 110/120V user... Correct??

Thanks Peter & all Board Members.

I live in Italy,
my VH4 2008 tube fault fuses are: T250ma 250V,
tell me what you read on your vh4 fuses.
If is 250V, use 250V even you're on 110V. :)

And yet again - I thank you, all of you... Exemplary level of communication and knowledge around these parts!!
