The trans-white finish color paired with a maple fretboard was a very limited spec combination relegated to only a few of the Japanese Premium L-2000 basses made in the year 2010. It is an extremely rare combination; and it took me years to track down a Japanese Premium L-2000 with this exact combination. Totally got lucky.

On a related note: you can more easily find a USA-made L-2000 model with the trans-white finish and a maple fretboard, but there are only a few out there. Typically, any G&L with the trans-white finish color is paired with a rosewood fretboard. (It just seems to be a default thing that G&L has always done.)

The proprietary G&L Magnetic Field Design™ humbuckers are made in the USA G&L factory before being shipped to Japan for the assembly phase of production. And when combined with the proprietary G&L Tri-Tone™ control system, the MFD humbuckers really make the L-2000 one of the most flexible, "easiest-to-dial-in" basses that I've ever played.
