Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a G major 2 this week,
I wanted to verify two things:

1. How is it doin with twin jet's loop? I've heard about problems before
with uberschall former versions, anyone experienced it with the twin jet?

2. Does the g major relay switch controls both the loop and the channel switching on
the uberschall?

Thanks,
Daniel.

Relay switching will work fine for both, in regard to working in the loop, this is my personal opinion. I am a huge fan of Bogner amps, but the serial loops do not do it for me. I have a power amp and a Mini Mix II both coming to me to test changing the loop to parallel which has worked wonders in other amps and also trying out a W/D/W.

I am guessing the Parallel loop and Mini Mix II will be my final solution as I hate the extra gear for W/D/W and playing live it introduces more stuff to haul, more of a nightmare for the sound guy and much harder to get all the levels right. It does sound massive in ones bedroom though.

Don't let my post discourage you on the amps loop, the Serial loop may work fine for you with the G Major, I had a G Force I used in the loop when I first got the TJ, and after setting up levels some presets sounded really good.
