Hi everybody !

I would change my 4 Celestion V30 for G12M Greenbach, to remove the harsh trebles sides of the V30.

Does someone has already tested a 4x12 with Greenbacks ?

Thanks ;)

I have a Bogner 4x12 wigh Greenbacks that I've used with my Diezel VH4 and a few other amps. Sounds great to me. I like V30s as well. The Greenbacks won't be able to handle as much power and volume. And the low end won't be as tight. But the mid range and high-end is sweeter. Another alternative is the G12-65. It's a Greenback than can handle more power and has a smoother top end due to a larger dust cover on the speaker cone. Scumback and WGS both make clones of this speaker as well as Greenbacks that can handle more power and stay tight with added power/volume. So there are lots of options. But if you're using a Diezel and play high-gain, I would recommend either the G12-65 or a Scumback Greenback rated for 65+ watts.

Thanks for your answer.
I think I have an another solution, the "classical" G12T-75.

If you like 'em, that's cool. But they are probably the worst sounding speaker in the history of ever.

try green mixed with V30

t75 are more toppy than your V30 and you might find the highs being harsher than the V30

Highs more harsher than the V30 ?
I can't deal with that. It's definitely a bad option for my ears

G12-65's  IMO best of both worlds , the cut and tightness of V30's and the rich sweet GB high/mid grind.
