Hi guys/gal!

Quick question.. I’m using my Ground Control Pro to run my amp and the GCX isn’t being run by phantom power. I’ll be using a 9v ac power supply 2.5mm. Which brand are you guys using as a boss or one spot power supply does not fit in the 9v jack of the GCX.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The power is 9V AC, not DC, which is why the standard DC connections do not work. It comes with the appropriate power supply, because guessing you don’t have that, I’m away from mine, but I think if you check the bottom of the unit, on the tag, it will have the power requirement. So you’ll need a wall wort plug that has 9VAC and matches the mA number.

A Ground Control Pro will run on AC or DC power...it matters not. The current and voltage are what's important(9v 500ma). I power mine with a Pedal Power 2+ on outputs 5 and 6 combined with the Voodoo Lab current doubler cable, you can see the phantom power midi cable on the front of my pedal shelf:
