I was just struck with a question. I wonder how many dudes on RT still rock a mullet. I mean I am willing to bet 80% of the RT guys absolutely rocked a STRONG mullet at some point but how many still do?

Based on his looks, tone, moves, fills, and the Lynch "jackoff" vibrato stuff, my guess is he's likely a guitarist in a Dokken tribute band... great job IMO.

I watched alot of the videos a week or so ago. Lot and LOT of great players out there.

As far as a Mullet? I been shaving my head for the last 10 years. Mullet might of been 7th grade back in 1984.

That was exactly what I was thinking. My band opened for Blue Oyster Cult and few years back and I shit you not!!!!! the roadie was behind the drums playing the fucking guitar. Maybe Lynch can hire this kid to do the same !

Thing is, yes there are a ton of great Lynches out there but what happened to being yourself? It's ok to cop a few licks, style, and feel of someone you really like but don't try to be exactly like them!

Speak for yourself, I'd be fine with it, if from here on out, all performed music for the rest of time consisted of nothing but highly competent George Lynch covers.

In all seriousness, some good playing, but Mr. S was always my least favorite song on that album. DO Not know why...just didn't care for it...

Good point. Don't get me wrong, i love me some 80's Lynch dripping in verb/delay..just never get these competitions where guys show their best Lynch or VH or whoever else..

I like the fact that he was playing the tune's main hook and melody but he injected his own licks and fills instead of just copying the recording.
Although those licks were definitely in George's style. Still great playing and technique.
