Getting a second 1x12 Cabinet for a stereo effect

I'm currently playing through a single 1x12 cabinet in my front room. I was thinking of getting a second one, to put on the other side, to get a stereo effect. I was thinking of getting a new chorus pedal anyway. Any of you guys have a setup like this? How do you like it?

A lot of people dig that setup, especially with stereo delay and reverb. I remember it was all this one guy would play. He would bring his crate combo and an extension cab. He basically would always keep the same settings because he liked it so much
