Did a lot of gigs with the Peavey Classic 50 head. I got one in storage, gotta dig it out. Only issue is, I did some mods and I think it was better stock. Gonna have to see if i can reverse those and see if it sounds like I think it did 30 years ago lolol

You have a storage jackpot full of gear?? LOL

Bought one of those with the 4x10 and 1x15 stack for my daughter not too long ago.
It's a pretty sweet amp.
What mods did you do?

The Peavey Classic 50 head is one of my favorite amps. I really wish they would have just made it with a pair of 6L6's or EL34's instead of the four EL84's. I had the 50 watt head and 50 watt 212.

Here's the 212 combo going into a 4x12.

I turn on and off my Bion Boost a couple of times, but most of it including the beginning is not boosted.

PV Classics are great bang for buck.
Hope the mods weren't too invasive. They're a pain to work on.

Played a C30 twice in the past couple of weeks. Tempted to pick it up, partly for nostalgia, and partly because it really does sound good, not just for the $.
