Greetings 
The singer for a great local band was sick last week so they asked us to fill-in for them at a gig they had scheduled for Friday. It was somewhat last-minute, but we had only played out as a band 3 times prior to this and it was a great opportunity to get some stage time. It was also an opportunity to get our foot in the door at another venue. Turns out that it was a great move; we were able to help out a good group of guys who, this morning, asked us to fill-in for one of their gigs next weekend. Plus, the bar owner really liked us and wants to put us on a rotating schedule.
