Sorry, maybe it's just me, but I feel like something is fishy about the results from day 2.
Hate me all you want but we're doing a runoff poll to verify the community's decision.
I'm not going to spend time and money on a joke that nobody would actually want.
I just want to verify so don't be offended.
This is to fairly gauge a build for the average RT Member.
That said; I am excluding votes from those who have joined in the last 12 months and/or have less than 250 posts and/or haven't posted in years and suddenly started.
If there is a tie, we will do another runoff.

I've been here for years. Why does it matter? This isn't going to block anyone from joining the giveaway. This is making sure that alts and whatnot aren't trolling.

Honestly, that's what I wanted to make sure of. It ended up being the highest in the last poll, but it went from lagging behind to way ahead overnight and people I'm not familiar or had ever seen with were voting. So, just wanted to make sure the results weren't being skewed.

I just call it like I see it. Your page says oct 2023. Surely you don't believe you're the only person who's had a previous account.

And looking at the voters, there really aren't a significant amount of people newer than you. Plus given the new options, why not just say you aren't giving away a 7/8 string?

I already said it's your poll in my first post lol. Look it's a great thing you're doing and I'm in no position do to something similar so do whatever you want. I just don't see the logic behind the change and seeing anything fishy going on🤷‍♂️

Nothing to apologize for. I've just done giveaways in the past and thought this time it would be cool to do one where the community has a say in the guitar and a higher chance of enjoying it if that makes sense. Just want to make sure it's something that would actually get used and also thought it was a fun idea to create a signature model for the community with everyone's (long time members in this case, as in the average is a charvel or jackson, if it were up to me it would be a 9 or 10 string covered in rainbow zebra stripes :ROFLMAO: ).

Probably going to do a second V or Explorer build as well down the road. Possibly have numerous builds done of the same models that end up being selected to giveaway. I'll just have to see where this goes and work on my formula for community selection to make sure we don't end up with a reverse flying v made out of acrylic.

Okay, well it's fine if you don't see the logic in it. I'm sure others do. It's the reason I didn't allow the community to vote on some past giveaways, because people can make numerous accounts and repeatedly vote for what they want if that makes more sense. Don't take it personal. You're more than welcome to join the giveaway.
 
I'm going to stand by my first choice of San Dimas and Swamp Ash, but Alder wouldn't break my heart.
