So far we're working with a Dinky/Soloist Super Strat body made from Mahogany.
PSA: To clarify again; this particular one is a bolt on build.
Neck Carve, Nut width, Fingerboard Radius, Fret Material/size will be on the next poll followed by a poll for headstock shape and figuring (if applicable).
String spacing will likely be limited to bridge selection in a later poll.
Given the runoff results were on close to par with the original results, all members are welcome to vote.
Any ties will have a runoff poll.
You can change your selections up to the point the poll closes if you accidentally select the wrong feature or have a second preference based on where the poll is going.
This poll will close in two days.

My guitar is 25.5
However, every time i play a 24.75, i smile. I like rosewood and ebony and maple and mahog necks.
There is no losing with this vote for me, really

I feel like a 24.75" all mahogany superstrat would be cool since all of the ones Gibson ever came up with were pretty ugly/clunky/dumb electronics.
Tbh, I would like to have had a neckthrough option for this build, but it would limit options and be a year out to completion vs late spring/early summer which is my current ETA.

Just saying...24 frets 24.75....not good....no compute.

For simplicity sake, you could just combine 2 options. As 24 fret is 25.5 scale and 24.75 scale is 22 or 20 frets...so🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. 🤷‍♀️

That's not this style...but ok, if you want to be that way about it.

Also, one would argue that is a bad design, because pickup location and spacing...but that's being pedantic.

I was simply pointing out a way to make choices easier. And following the op.

I apologize.

And...maybe not.

I'd love a 25.5 sg ..with 22 frets. And a wide nut. But that isn't this...so.

🤣

Cool.

Don't get me wrong, I get what you're saying, but I feel like maybe you're not taking into consideration a few things.
The bulk of the community is made of seasoned players who are aware of what you're talking about.
Most of us probably play the bridge pickup more than anything (you'll notice the switch position in those pics of my SGs, for example).
It's possible that people may only want a bridge pickup in the final design (Can almost guarantee for at least @Smash )
Members may want something totally different than what's available off the shelf.
Like I said in another thread this isn't my design or any one members, it's a community build, so who knows.
You're more than welcome to stick around!

I like mahogany or maple. 3 and five piece necks rule for stability. 14" radius and LTD tall jumbos. Ebony board, this isn't even debatable. I put a bunch of people on my ignore list that voted for a different fingerboard wood.

It's interesting to me that some members are only voting for one or two features when there are four options. Seems people are more concerned with the fingerboard than scale length, for example. Or perhaps just not realizing they have the ability to select one from each of the four categories 🤷‍♀️
