Aside from owning Chubtone guitars Curt also operates Squid Music music store for how much longer I don't know but his store has killer prices on killer music gear...
I recently found that my 42 your old Floyd Rose baseplate pivot fulcrum points on my 1983 Kramer were wore out and were no longer a good knife edge and the high E side actually has a burr on that edge and since the trem had always had tuning issues on the GBE side since I've had the guitar I had a good hard look at the tremelo finally.
After finding this I decided to thrown in another new FR trem into it from another project guitar and the tuning issue went away. So I started looking at the FR original 1984 trem on the Floyd Rose website and then I found Squid Music on Ebay selling at a much cheaper price than the FR website and other sellers so buying from Curt was a no brainer for me.
Curt also allows the buyer to pick out what size Floyd Brass sustain blocks the buyers want, 32 ,37 or 42mm blocks. My old Floyd had a 42mm block and Curt swapped out the 37mm for the 42mm no extra charge. That's great service!
Now I also have to mention I ordered the Trem and new R2 locknut on February 17 2025 and I received the tremelo today February 21 2025 and that's coming from Cali to the midwest in 4 days considering the holiday on Monday....I can't thank Curt enough....Check out his shop on Ebay he has tons of killer parts and great prices.
