Hey guys. I currently have a PC with an M-Audio 2496 Audiophile card. It has MIDI In/Outs. My GMajor is connected to a GCX Switcher and the GCX to a Ground Control Pro. The GCX is connected to the MIDI In jack on the GMajor. Can I use the M-audio card as an interface for the GMajor into the PC? If so, Can I connect the GMajor's MIDI Out to the 2496's MIDI In and the GMajor's MIDO Thru to the 2496's Out? I'm just trying to figure out if there's a way to have the GMajor plugged into the PC and GCX at the same time.

Thanks.

Hi, I was on vacation last month, sorry for the delay! But I am sure there are many other G-Major users here in this forum who can answer your questions.

Anyway to use G-Major with your PC you need to connect GMajor's MIDI In and MIDI Out to M-Audio 2496s MIDI Out and MIDI In respectively. You can't use GMajor's MIDI Thru in place of GMajor's MIDI.
I also had this problem for so long and ended up buying a new MOTU FastLane MIDI interface which has two MIDI Ins and Outs. Because Fast lane has a MIDI thru button I can use the midi padel even when the computer is not running.
Thanks,
GLydian
