I went to band practice today and my Godlyke powerall was dead. I have had it for 5 months. It was nice and quiet when it worked. The thing is I have 2 others for my pedal boards at home.

I am e-mailing them now. This is just a heads up. I should have taken the reviews more seriously I guess and gotten a Visual Sounds 1-spot or spent the big bucks on the Voodoo labs power supply.

I have had one for longer than that. Please don't jinx me. :(

I have 3 and a couple of guys at work have 1 each. So that's 5 total. Still 1 out of 5 isn't good.

I have the Dunlop DC Brick and it works real good for kinda low bucks.

Looks like they might cover it, I will keep you guys posted. At least I got an e-mail response today, which is pretty impressive.

I have heard good things about those DC bricks, the problem is the amount of space they take up. I have 4 Signal Flex PS-9's, they are about the same size as the DC brick. You should have seen my pedal board before and after the Power-All. Its so much cleaner now....

Luckily too I don't have any 18V pedals, that makes power supply options easier.

If they cover it after 5 months, I'd say no harm done.

Sometimes things just break. Weird if it is fine for 5 months, but who knows what went wrong with it?

Its on its way back to Godlyke, we will see what happens....

1 Spots are notorious for doing that, actually. The best pedal power supply on the market, currently, is the Voodoo Labs one.

They must build little filtering into the supplies for spikes would be my guess. I have 4 signal flex PS-9's, so I guess I will just bring one of those as a backup.

I also don't see many threads about people having issues with these, so that was a big reason for this thread.

My new just died, same rig too. What's strange is when I left practice a couple of weeks ago, it was fine. I turned off the power strip. I turn on the power strip last nigh, nothing. Luckily I had my backup Signal Flex PS-9.

I think I am just going to order a one spot and forget trying to exchange the power-all again.

Only thing I can think of is that switching on the power strip gives the unit a surge, or there is som partial short in my pedal or cables. However my Signal Flex PS-9 which only handles 450mA compared to 1700mA of the power all is working fine.....

Thats weird  If it means anything in your decision I have a one spot and so does my other guitar player. We have had zero problems in 3yrs of using mine and 2 yrs for his. I don't bring a back up but I can get buy with only two pedals if I needed and bring batteries for those.
Good luck

Voodoo Labs rocks. No noise whatsoever when I switched to it.

I would need 3 of those, since I have 3 pedal boards, one is a temporary one I made up for my current band.

I don't have the money for 3 at $160 or so a piece. Nice supply though, just not practical in my situation.

Its working again. It seems I tripped the over current protection in the IC in the power supply. So now I have to figure out what triggered that.
