OK, I'm gonna give this a shot,
Channel 1: Texas mode, gain between 3:00 and dimed,(dependeing on the song), then I go noon on channel volume, 3:00 treble, 11:00 mids, 2:00 bass, 1:00 presence, 2:00 depth, master 1 at 8-9:00 depending on room size, and master 2 just slightly louder than master 1, for a suddle boost to improve dynamics in certain parts of the songs. I also find (on my Einstein at least), that Master 2 has a slight tonal change from master 1, in a more open sounding way. I really like this, as it offers another tone to work with. With volumes set evenly, it almost is like having a third channel. Then I set channel 2 very much the same as channel 1, but I back down the gain to 11:00, and raise the channel volume to 2:00 This gives me a great boosted lead sound. Sometimes I will step on both footswitches for a lead, and I get the same tonal changes as I described earlier, but with the monsterous tone of channel 2 pushing it.
Let me say that I'm playing old Gibson's with '59's and PAF's, and they are dark sounding by nature, so the kind of guitar or should I say the brightness of your guitar will cause you to have to tweak the setting a bit for your likeness.
Hope any of this helped, and congrats on your Einstein! You will love this amp! It's definately a keeper!
